At the beginning of October 2020 I started a commission for a red deer stag on a Scottish landscape and wanted to show you the progress so far.
Progression 1- First sketch of picture with added rocks at front to create depth.
Progression 2- Add some ground colour.
Progression 3- Add a bit more colour and light detail.
Progression 4- Start to add more detail and shape to the landscape.
This is what I have so far but still needs more work to get to the finished piece, Will update on other progressions to the finished piece in another post, so watch this space.
