Today I visited Geltdale Nature Reserve just next to the border of Cumbria. The weather was wet and very windy so didn't go far but looked around the information center (which was a bit of a walk for the car park) and had a walk up to the Tarn view point were there is a bit of a hide. At the hide you can look across the Tarn and look for birds.
At the View point I saw Canada Geese, Mallard and a family of Mute Swans. As the rain was getting worse I decided to head back to the car but couldn't resist taking one last picture.
