Donna Nook Seal Colony

Writer's picture: Dawn McCallDawn McCall

On the 15th November 2018 I went to see the seals at Donna Nook. Donna Nook stretches 6 miles between Cleethorpes and Mablethorpe and is a area of low-lying coastline which is managed by the Wildlife trust with agreement from the Ministry of Defence.

Every November to December time grey seals come to Donna Nook to give birth to their pups on the sand dunes.

Grey Seal pups are born with white fluffy coats
